The Clinical Trial Data Manager will be responsible for supporting the NSLHD's Clinical Trial units through the provision of direct support and advice in relation to the Clinical Trials data management via Management System (CTMS) and Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR).

What you'll be doing
As a central data manager, the incumbent will collaborate with NSLHD and facility-based managers to support the implementation and operational uptake of CTMS and SDPR across the District. The role is crucial in supporting research unit leads and building capacity to support the growth of research across the District and ensuring income from clinical trials is optimal via efficient use of the CTMS, SDPR and relevant portals. The incumbent will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to keep abreast of system changes and to ensure the appropriate notification, escalation and resolution of technical and operational issues in relation to the use of data systems for clinical research.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Demonstrated experience in the development, maintenance and management of data and data systems for clinical research including clinical trials (Electronic Data Capture systems, Clinical Trial Management System, Single Digital Patient Record, electronic Medical Records, participant recruitment portals and applications).
  2. Excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  3. Demonstrating adaptability, capability, solution-focused attitude and proactive behaviour to support beyond daily duties.
