About the Opportunity
As a Clinical Technology Integration Readiness Lead of our Clinical Technology Integration team within SDPRIA, you will lead the delivery of secure and standardised clinical technology integrations across NSW Health as part of the transition to the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR). This position plays a key role in ensuring that enterprise-level infrastructure, applications and device integration solutions are technically sound, interoperable and aligned to NSW Health standards.
This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape the readiness of digital and clinical systems across the state. You’ll contribute to the planning, architecture and quality assurance of device integration solutions, working with key technologies such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM across major clinical systems like EMRs, PAS and operating theatre applications. Some travel may be required to engage with Local Health Districts (LHDs) and stakeholders across the system.
In this role, you will:
- Lead stakeholder discovery and documentation of current-state architecture across LHDs and NSW Health entities
- Support the development, implementation and governance of secure clinical technology integration solutions
- Ensure interoperability and performance of device integrations using industry protocols and standards
- Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to improve outcomes, drive innovation and support delivery of SDPR
- Contribute to testing, architecture assurance and continuous improvement across the integration lifecycle
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has extensive experience developing and implementing clinical integration solutions in complex environments
- Brings strong knowledge of health messaging and integration standards including HL7, FHIR, and DICOM
- Holds relevant qualifications or has equivalent experience in technical/clinical system integration
- Demonstrates experience with clinical systems such as EMR, PAS, Outpatients, Nursing, or Operating Theatres
- Can confidently lead stakeholder engagement and influence architecture design and decision-making
