About the Opportunity

We currently have two opportunities available for Clinical Technology Integration Engineers in our Clinical Technology Team within SDPRIA. In this role, you will support the planning, readiness, implementation and ongoing operation of integrated medical devices and systems connected to the state’s digital health record.

These roles offer the chance to be part of a state-wide digital health initiative, helping to integrate clinical technologies that directly improve patient outcomes. You will play a key role in ensuring medical devices and systems are seamlessly and securely connected to the digital health record, supporting consistency, standardisation and reliability across NSW Health. Some travel may be required to engage with Local Health Districts (LHDs) and stakeholders across the system.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure integrated solutions meet safety, clinical and user requirements.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of medical device integration across NSW Health.
  • Guide Clinical Engineering teams in configuring and testing medical device interfaces.
  • Support system testing, conformance validation and documentation of integrated solutions.
  • Promote safe and efficient use of clinical systems through training and user support.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Have experience implementing and maintaining complex integration frameworks for medical devices and clinical systems.
  • Possess strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills in large, fast-paced environments.
  • Hold relevant qualifications in system integration, clinical engineering, or related fields.
  • Can conduct interface testing, data modelling, message validation and workflow analysis.
  • Are confident in developing documentation and providing specialist advice to internal and external stakeholders.
