What you'll be doing
As a Clinical Support Officer Level 3, you’ll play a pivotal role in keeping ward and unit operations running smoothly, enabling clinical staff to focus on patient care.
Support Nurse Unit Managers with workforce administration including rostering, recruitment, leave and payroll
Provide timely and accurate administrative and data entry support related to patient care activities
Assist with financial, quality and performance reporting
Coordinate purchasing, equipment maintenance and stock control for medical supplies
Support meetings, accreditation activities, incident management and other ward-based administrative processes

Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration
Excellent communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
Demonstrated experience in word processing, spreadsheet and database software
Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high-pressure, high-volume work environment
Experience with computerised rostering systems (HealthRoster).
