Where you'll be working
Sydney West Radiation Oncology Network (SWRON) provides comprehensive cancer services across the Western Sydney Local Health District, with clinical research activities delivered by the Radiation Oncology Network Clinical Research Unit (RON-CRU). The unit operates between The Crown Princess Mary Cancer Centre at Westmead and the Blacktown Cancer and Haematology Centre. You’ll work alongside a collaborative, supportive and dedicated team committed to improving cancer outcomes through high-quality, patient-centred research.

What you'll be doing
As the Clinical Research Coordinator, you will actively support the delivery of existing and new clinical research projects across SWRON. You’ll manage research coordination activities, provide coverage for research clinics, and maintain oversight of clinical trial data management, regulatory compliance and operational support for translational research components.
- Provide research coordination and clinical coverage across SWRON sites as required
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support efficient research operations
- Manage clinical trial data entry, reporting and regulatory compliance processes
- Support the start-up, ethics submissions and activation of new clinical research projects
- Coordinate meetings, data submissions and research reporting to Cancer Institute NSW

Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary Qualification in Clinical Trials/Data Management, Nursing, Health Sciences or equivalent experience.
- Information Management, Science, Allied Health or relevant experience demonstrating an applied knowledge of medical terminology with the ability to interpret information collected.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting and autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail and the ability to take initiative.
- Current understanding relating to the application of ICH-GCP, clinical research regulatory guidelines and associated requirements.
- Demonstrated ability in use of all Microsoft Office programs and a working knowledge of databases.
- Highly developed oral, written and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships.
- Current driver licence.
