What you'll be doing
You will join the Therapy for Kids & Families (TKF) team, a specialist child and family mental health service delivering comprehensive community-based care. As a Clinical Psychologist, you’ll play a key role in assessing and treating complex emotional and behavioural concerns while working closely with families and partner agencies.
Provide clinical assessments, specialist reports and evidence-based therapy
Deliver systemic, family-centred interventions and advocate for consumers
Contribute psychological expertise within a multidisciplinary team across TKF and PCYMHS
Offer clinical supervision to psychologists, students and health staff
Lead or support service improvement projects, research and outcome evaluations

Essential Requirements:
Qualification: Accredited post-graduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology.
Registration: Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and area of practice endorsement
Selection Criteria:
Accredited post-graduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and full registration as Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA and endorsement in the area of Clinical Psychology
Extensive experience in working therapeutically with children and families who present with significant emotional, behavioural, and/or mental health difficulties including family therapy and dyadic carer-child therapy
Demonstrated evidence-based skills in the assessment and treatment of children and their families presenting with complex mental health issues in a developmental framework
Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) and ability to build therapeutic relationships
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and with other service providers to achieve optimal outcomes for children and families
Demonstrated experience and well developed skills in the use of a range of standardised psychometric measures administered as a part of a comprehensive assessment of clients referred to the service
Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence and willingness to use for work purposes
