Where you'll be working
SESLHD is one of the largest local health districts in Sydney, covering a geographical area of 468 square kilometres from Sydney’s central business district, the beaches from Bondi to Cronulla and down to the Royal National Park. We deliver health care to around 930,000 residents across the local government areas of Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick, Bayside, Georges River and the Sutherland Shire. We also provide a key role in helping residents of Lord Howe Island. Our staff also deliver high quality health care across a variety of community-based services ranging from pre-birth to palliative care.
The Role
To provide clinical pharmacy services across South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) to optimise safe and appropriate medication usage.
The position will rotate through a variety of clinical, operational (dispensary) and production teams on a rotation schedule.

- Registered as a practicing pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Grade 2 Pharmacists must meet the criteria set out in the Health Employees' Pharmacists (State) Award and are expected to continually demonstrate achievement of at least three of the five listed competencies within the Award.
- Tell us about a challenging case where you identified a medication-related problem. How did you handle it?
- The role of a rotational pharmacist involves integration within the multidisciplinary team. Describe a time when you had to collaborate to resolve a problem in the interest of person-centred care.
- Tell us about a difficult conversation you have had with a patient or team member. How did you handle it and what strategies did you use? What did you learn?
