  2. Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners’ Regulation Authority (APHRA), with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least three (3) years full time equivalent clinical experience working in a relevant area.
  3. Knowledge, skill and ability to engage and work effectively in providing and coordinating comprehensive health care for young people 12 to 24 years, develop collaborative care plans, recognise and escalate risk.
  4. Demonstrated professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, and ability to provide effective education and mentoring to assist other staff to communicate confidently and effectively with young people.
  5. Demonstrated strong organisational skills, capacity to work independently. Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and to manage complex clinical care delivery with multiple stakeholders, across diverse service settings.
  6. Comprehensive knowledge of NSW Health policies, guidelines, professional standards, legislative requirements and best practice evidence relating to youth health practice.
  7. Demonstrated knowledge in initiating and implementing evidence-based practice changes to improve clinical service delivery models of care, clinical practice and client outcomes.
  8. Experience in using electronic health records and computer literacy in Microsoft applications and current NSW Driver’s license.
