Remuneration: $62.82 - $64.88 per hour + 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

Deliver impactful respiratory care that supports patients across their full healthcare journey. 

  • Work across inpatient and outpatient settings to provide integrated respiratory care. 
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and carers to develop tailored care plans. 
  • Support effective discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. 
  • Provide education to patients, families, and staff to improve health outcomes. 
  • Act as a key clinical resource within the multidisciplinary team. 
     
 

Are You the Right Fit? 
Bring your expertise, independence, and passion for patient-centred care. 

  • Demonstrated respiratory experience, including chronic conditions such as asthma and COPD. 
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team. 
  • Experience supporting patients in both hospital and community settings. 
  • Skilled in care planning and ensuring patient understanding of medications and management. 
  • Strong communication skills to educate and support patients, families, and colleagues 
 

Selection Criteria

  • Do you currently hold Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, relevant post-registration qualification and at least 3 years full time equivalent experience working the clinical area of your qualification?

     

  • Please outline your experience and qualifications in respiratory nursing. In your response, describe your clinical background, any relevant postgraduate qualifications or certifications, and your experience providing care to patients with respiratory conditions across inpatient and/or community settings.
  • Highlight the main factors driving your interest in this position and express what aspects of joining the team at Fairfield Hospital motivates you the most
