About the Opportunity:
Murrumbidgee Local Health District is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 (Hepatitis C) to join our Harm Reduction and Prevention (HARP) team.
In this rewarding role, you will provide specialist, evidence-based Hepatitis C care across community, primary health and outreach settings. Working with vulnerable and priority populations, you'll deliver person-centred, trauma-informed care, coordinate complex care, provide clinical education and leadership, and contribute to service improvement. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll help improve access to treatment and support the NSW goal of eliminating Hepatitis C across the Murrumbidgee.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications (or willingness to undertake further study) with experience in hepatitis, blood-borne viruses, sexual health, public health or a related clinical specialty
- Advanced clinical assessment, decision-making and care coordination skills within a primary health or community setting.
- Experience delivering person-centred, evidence-based and trauma-informed care to vulnerable and marginalised populations.
- The ability to provide clinical leadership, education and mentoring while supporting continuous quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Current Class C Driver Licence and willingness to travel throughout the Murrumbidgee region.
