About the role
-
The Alcohol and Drug Service (ADS) has nursing staff located in outpatient areas including Rankin Court Treatment Centre (RCTC),
Opioid Treatment Program, Outpatients, Stimulant Services and the Assertive Community Management (ACM) Program. -
Providing integral clinical leadership and oversight within the units of the ADS, primarily ADS Outpatients and RCTC, conducting assessments and complex care treatment planning, brief interventions and medication administration.

Liaising with other health care professionals within SVHS and with external agencies, to ensure appropriate drug and alcohol treatment strategies are implemented.

Extended leadership role in coordination of nursing and health care within and across different care contexts to facilitate optimal health outcomes.
About you
-
Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.

Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least three years’ experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification.

Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team at a senior level.

Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis.
