- Current registration with the National Registration Board (AHPRA).
- Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the relevant clinical area of their post-registration qualification.
- Demonstrated evidence of advanced clinical practice in the specialty area.
- Demonstrated evidence of autonomy in decision making skills and demonstrated ability to be both self-directed and work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated advanced leadership skills with the ability to lead and educate nursing staff in the review of new protocols and identification of nursing requirements and education
- Demonstrated advanced excellent interpersonal and communication skills across the multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical assessment skills across the paediatric age spectrum.
- Computer literacy, including experience in Microsoft Office
What you'll be doing
The Clinical Research Nurse will participate in the recruitment of research participants, facilitation of the consent process, administration of clinical interventions required as part of the study, observing and responding to side effects as well as liaising with study sponsors and ensuring the accurate collection and submission of data, in line with the study protocols and research regulations.
The Clinical Research Nurse acts as a role model within the clinical research team by demonstrating behaviour and interacting with patients, their families and employees in a way that promotes a culture and standards that reflect the NSW Health CORE values.
