About the role:
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist – Aged Care at Manilla MPS, you will provide advanced clinical leadership in the coordination, management, and delivery of high-quality nursing care to our residents.
You will work both collaboratively and independently to ensure the best outcomes for residents. At times, you will partner with another CNS to support, educate, and guide EEN and AIN staff in delivering quality care. You will also assist with medical officer reviews, documentation updates, facility meetings, and family conferences. When working independently, you will continue to provide expert care, oversee resident documentation, and review care plans to maintain excellence in service delivery.
Supported by a dedicated team - including the Health Service Manager, fellow Aged Care CNS 2, NUM, and CNE - you will have access to structured orientation, ongoing professional development, and both online and face-to-face education. Welcome to Manilla Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) - a beacon of care and community, nestled in the breathtaking Northern Tablelands of New South Wales.
Manilla Health Service is a 57 bed Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) comprising of 4 emergency beds, 12 acute beds and 40 residential aged care. We provide a range of clinical services including 24 hour Emergency Department, Medical, Antenatal Care, Radiology, Residential Aged Care, Community Health and an onsite HealthOne GP practice to patients, residents and clients of the Manilla community and surrounds.
Manilla is 45kms from our main referral hospital, Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital (TRRH). The population is approximately 3000 and is supported by two General Practices that operate 0830 am - 5.00 pm Monday - Friday.

Requirements:
Our successful candidate will possess the following:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with APHRA.
- Eligibility to drive in NSW and willingness to travel for work purposes.
