Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners’ Regulation Authority (APHRA), with post-registration qualifications relevant to child and family health (CFH) nursing and at least three (3) years full time equivalent clinical experience working in a child and family community health setting or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
- Excellent professional writing skills, ability to effectively use digital health records and Microsoft applications. Current NSW Driver’s licence and willingness to travel within NSLHD.
- Demonstrated ability to apply high level CFH skills, knowledge and clinical reasoning relevant to assessing parent-child relationships, all aspects of child health, development and wellbeing, parental psychosocial and emotional needs and formulating care plans.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of, and ability to apply, family- partnership, person-centred, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and inclusive care principles in practice.
