Clinical Nurse Specialist

1. Current registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners’ Regulation Authority (APHRA), with post-registration qualifications relevant to child and family health (CFH) nursing and at least three (3) years full time equivalent clinical experience working in a child and family community health setting or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
2. Excellent professional writing skills, ability to effectively use digital health records and Microsoft applications. Current NSW Driver’s licence and willingness to travel within NSLHD.
3. Demonstrated ability to apply high level CFH skills, knowledge and clinical reasoning relevant to assessing parent-child relationships, all aspects of child health, development and wellbeing, parental psychosocial and emotional needs and formulating care plans.
4. Demonstrated advanced knowledge of, and ability to apply, family- partnership, person-centred, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and inclusive care principles in practice.
