What you'll be doing
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will design, deliver and evaluate impactful education programs that support clinicians to provide safe, high-quality care in a complex acute setting.
Plan and deliver competency-based education aligned with clinical standards and workforce needs
Facilitate engaging bedside teaching and support staff development across all levels
Mentor nurses to build capability, confidence, and clinical excellence
Lead orientation, induction, and ongoing professional development programs
Partner with stakeholders to drive quality improvement and implement best practice initiatives

Essential Criteria
Registration:Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated extensive clinical experience and/ or post registration qualification in the relevant speciality and nursing professional development/education.
Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change within the context of best practice clinical care and workplace culture
Demonstrated ability to design, implement and evaluate clinical education at the ward level, and provide support and guidance to ensure an appropriately skilled and qualified nursing and midwifery workforce, working within appropriate models of care.
Demonstrated effective and high level communication skills including negotiation and conflict resolutions skills in addition to proven ability to motivate and engage people in the clinical setting.
Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous improvement whilst ensuring currency of practice in the relevant specialty.
Strong commitment to the on-going development/enhancement of nursing practice within a patient centred, multi-disciplinary clinical environment.
Relevant computer skills including database programmes and data entry.
