  1. Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse/ Midwife and current NSW Driver’s License and willingness to travel as required in role.
  2. Holds relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate.
  3. Sound understanding of teaching and learning in the health care environment (adult learning principles) and demonstrated ability to apply same in practice.
  4. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, advanced computer skills and use of software programs to develop and deliver education.
  5. Demonstrated clinical teaching and facilitation skills.
  6. Demonstrated knowledge of assessment of practice in a clinical setting.
  7. Demonstrated commitment to professional development in others and to maintain, improve and broaden knowledge, expertise, capability and confidence across a team.
