About the role
This Clinical Nurse Educator will assist in upskilling nurses across a broad range of emergency, critical care and advanced clinical proficiencies, and on-site education and training.
You will show evidence of advanced clinical nursing skills with demonstrated knowledge and skill using technology appropriate to the clinical area.
As an experienced educator with a sound understanding of learning and assessment principles gained from both experience and education (such as Cert IV in Training and Assessment – or willingness to work towards), you will provide day to day and one-on-one clinical education along with in-services to meet team and individual learning needs, with a focus on new / inexperienced staff.
You’ll use a variety of modalities, providing development opportunities to effectively engage with learners within a busy clinical environment across multiple shifts.
Importantly, you will promote a culture of continuous learning and development within our Living Well Together framework, providing clinical leadership, including preceptorship, mentorship and role modelling, to support a collaborative approach to learning and development.
