Are You the Right Fit?
You are a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in acute medical and/or renal nursing and a genuine commitment to clinical education. You thrive on supporting others to succeed, using your knowledge and experience to build capability, confidence and excellence in nursing practice.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in acute medical and/or renal nursing, with a passion for staff development and lifelong learning.
- Proven ability to develop, deliver and evaluate education programs that enhance clinical practice and professional growth.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to support nurses at all stages of their careers.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- The ability to identify learning needs and implement practical, evidence-based education strategies that improve patient outcomes.
- A collaborative, approachable and enthusiastic leadership style, with a commitment to fostering a positive team culture and supportive learning environment.
Selection Criteria

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). A post graduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education post graduate qualification or a combination of education training and clinical experience deemed appropriate by SWSLHD.

- Describe a clinical education initiative you have developed or implemented within an acute healthcare setting. What was your approach and what outcomes were achieved?
