About the role:
This role, one day per week, involves key duties to support the smooth operation of the facility. You will assist with conducting audits to ensure compliance with regulations and help keep staff up to date on mandatory education and training requirements. Additionally, you'll support the onsite manager with recruitment tasks, including resume screening, interview coordination, and onboarding new staff. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential for ensuring the facility runs efficiently and staff development is maintained.

Tingha is a small, friendly rural town located in the Northern Tablelands, known for its rich history and scenic surroundings. Once a thriving tin mining hub, Tingha is now a quiet, close-knit community with a strong sense of country charm. Surrounded by rolling hills and natural beauty, the town offers a peaceful lifestyle with a slower pace of life. Local amenities include a post office, shops, and a few cafes, while the surrounding area offers outdoor activities like bushwalking and nature exploration. How you'll be supported:
The role will be supported by the multidisciplinary team and Nursing management team, as well as the support from the Learning and Development team of the Nursing and Midwifery Directorate.

About you:
Our ideal candidate is a skilled clinical educator with a current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. You are capable of designing, delivering, and evaluating clinical education programs to enhance nursing practice and optimize patient outcomes. With a flexible, can-do attitude, you are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care while mentoring and supporting nursing staff at all levels.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with full AHPRA registration and who holds relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate.
  • Current Workplace Training and Assessment Cert IV or willing to work towards.
  • Credentialed as a DETECT and DETECT junior trainer or willingness to obtain.
  • Credentialed in Triage and ALS or willingness to obtain.
