What you will bring to the role:
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
- Postgraduate Qualification in Education or Clinical Specialty (or working towards).
- Extensive Clinical Experience in Day Surgery, Pre-Admission/cCinical Screening or Perioperative environments.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver education programs.
- Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to work in a consultative manner.
- Demonstrated previous experience in Clinical Teaching, Mentoring and Preceptorship.
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to working with NUM to establish and maintain a learning environment that values commitment to continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
