At Taree Community Health Service, we are proud to provide a range of healthcare and support services to the local community, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and well-being initiatives. Our Aged Care Service consists of a Psychogeriatric Service of a CNC and Registered Nurse. The team also boasts a Nurse Practitioner specialising in Aged Health & Diseases, along with access to a Specialist Geriatrician. You will be supported by the Aged Care Service Manager, administrative staff and a large experienced multi-disciplinary team. Regular online education is required for the safety of all staff, along with the support to attend further ongoing education and relevant professional development.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice with AHPRA with at least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience and in addition who has approved post registration nursing qualifications in Postgraduate in Geriatric Nursing/ Mental Health Nursing
- Eligibility to drive in NSW with current unrestricted driver’s licence and the ability and willingness to travel for work purposes which may involve driving long distances
Additional Information
- To be eligible for permanent employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable local candidate is identified for the position; in this instance, you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
- This position is full time only however flexible working arrangements will be considered.
