What you'll be doing
This position is responsible for the provision of viral hepatitis and liver disease prevention and management in accordance with relevant Mid North Coast Local Health District, NSW Ministry of Health Policies and Procedures and state and national plans.
About You
You present yourself as a seasoned, highly capable clinician with deep expertise in viral hepatitis and hepatology. With current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, you bring more than five years of post‑registration experience, supported by postgraduate qualifications and at least three years of focused clinical work in this specialty. Your background reflects a strong command of the complexities surrounding viral hepatitis, liver disease and hepatocellular carcinoma, along with the prevention strategies, clinical pathways and support services that shape high‑quality care.
You describe someone who can work independently with confidence while also collaborating seamlessly with clients, carers and multidisciplinary teams across the full continuum of care. Your organisational strengths stand out—you’re able to prioritise effectively, meet KPIs and manage competing demands without compromising clinical standards.
High‑level communication is a defining feature of your practice. You demonstrate the ability to lead practice development, implement evidence‑based change and influence multidisciplinary teams through clear, research‑informed communication. You also highlight your capacity for clinical governance and leadership, including delivering education to peers, clients and external service providers.
Your current NSW driver’s licence and willingness to travel reinforce your flexibility and readiness to support services wherever they are needed, rounding out a profile that is both expert and adaptable.
