What you'll be doing
To provide expert clinical consultancy and services within a defined specialty, practicing in accordance with IB2017_002 CNC 2 Domains, and to demonstrate leadership in promoting contemporary nursing / midwifery practice within the Mid North Coast Local Health District
About You
You are a registered nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and possess more than five years of full-time equivalent post-registration experience, supported by relevant postgraduate qualifications and over three years of specialised experience in your field of practice. You demonstrate a strong ability to work autonomously while also fostering collaborative relationships with clients, carers, multidisciplinary teams, and partner services across the continuum of care to achieve positive clinical outcomes.
You are highly organised and capable of effectively prioritising workloads, managing competing demands, and consistently meeting key performance indicators within complex healthcare environments. Your advanced communication and interpersonal skills enable you to lead practice development initiatives, facilitate change management processes, and promote evidence-based practice across multidisciplinary teams through the application of current research and best-practice principles.
You have demonstrated leadership in clinical governance, providing professional guidance, support, and oversight to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care. You are experienced in developing and delivering education to peers, clients, carers, and other service providers, contributing to workforce capability and continuous improvement. You hold a current NSW Driver Licence and are willing and able to travel as required to support service delivery and organisational objectives.
