Selection Criteria:
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.
- Current National Nurse Registration with AHPRA to the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with a minimum of five years full time equivalent post registration experience and approved post registration nursing qualification relevant to the field, or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues and problem solve through the development and use of clinical management plans.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision making while working as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
- Demonstrated skills in the development & facilitation of consumer and carer education and staff as required.
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills including developed skills in communication, problem solving and decision-making skills in relation to managing responsibilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice and a commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning.
- Commitment to consumer consultation and participation in service planning and delivery, policy development and implementation, priority setting and service evaluation and quality activities.
- Current NSW Drivers licence (and a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
