About The Opportunity

Campbelltown Hospital is seeking a compassionate Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our facility wide team. This role is critical to timely patient assessment, care planning and discharge. With a specialised skills set in this field, you will lead patient interventions, educate staff and be involved with practice change and research to ensure patient safety and best practice is at the forefront of our practice.

Demonstrated senior clinical experience in surgery and wound care.

  1. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).  At least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least 3 years full time equivalent experience in the specialty field. In addition, the employee must have approved postgraduate nursing/midwifery qualifications relevant to the field in which the employee is appointed, or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
  2. Please detail your recent experience as a Clinical Nurse Consultant in a Hospital setting or other appropriate experience relevant to the position being advertised. 
  3. Please provide an example of when you have provided safe, compassionate and quality care that is culturally responsive in line with NSW Health CORE Values.
