  • Lead, deliver and evaluate maternity-focused clinical education programs that drive best practice and improve mother and baby outcomes.  
  • Provide strong clinical leadership through preceptorship and mentorship, fostering a supportive and collaborative learning culture. 
  • Apply adult learning principles and contemporary education strategies to build capability and confidence across all levels of staff. 
  • Partner with management, Nurse Educators and Clinical Nurse Consultants to align education with operational and strategic priorities.

Selection Criteria

  • Do you currently hold Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA and possess a postgraduate qualification in a relevant clinical field or education? Please attach copies of your AHPRA registration and postgraduate qualification to your application.
  • Give a brief overview of what education training and clinically relevant experience you bring with you to the role?
  • Detail how your skills and professional background align with the requirements of the role, emphasising the value you intend to bring to the role.
  • Give an example of your approach to tailoring educational content for adults in a workplace setting, taking into consideration diverse learning styles, and how you plan to adapt your strategies to ensure effective skill transfer and development within the team?
