What you'll be doing
As a Clinical Midwife Educator, you’ll deliver and evaluate evidence-based clinical education programs, supporting midwifery and nursing staff to provide the highest standard of maternity care.
Facilitate learning, assessment and mentoring for students and new graduates
Deliver engaging and effective professional development programs
Support staff to meet mandatory and professional education requirements
Lead by example, promoting WSLHD’s values and high clinical standards
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes

Essential Criteria:
Registration - Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency. (NSW Registered Midwife – Division 1)
Selection Criteria:
Training and Assessment (TAA) qualification or Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assesment or willingness to attend same
Experience in the development and evaluation of targeted education programs
Post Graduate experience in postnatal care
Experience in clinical teaching utilising adult learning principles
Highly developed communication, coaching and facilitation skills
