  • Occupational therapist with current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and 3-5 years clinical experience in the prescription of assistive technology.
  • Demonstrated expert skills, knowledge and experience in self-care and mobility equipment; and proven ability to work in a high volume and demanding environment, with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on high level interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively collaborate with a range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement evidence based practice clinical criteria and related procedures, including the ability to monitor, evaluate and make recommendations to improve customer outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and provide clinical education and training.
  • Demonstrated ability to acquire skills, knowledge and responsibilities in areas outside core area of expertise in order to provide a service within a transdisciplinary framework.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet program objectives within agreed timeframes to support the financial management of the program and implementation of reforms to improve program efficiency and quality standards.
