  1. Degree in Business of Health Service Management or relevant field or equivalent or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and experience.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge of the public health system and an ability to apply that knowledge to achieve high standards of quality, efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of health services
  3. Highly developed and effective management skills with extensive management experience in a health service environment encompassing administration, finance and resource management and health service delivery.
  4. Demonstrated high-level verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to negotiate, build and maintain the confidence of a wide range of people, including senior managers and clinicians. Experience in the preparation of complex correspondence and reports.
  5. Demonstrated capacity to work independently and within a dynamic and multidisciplinary team.
  6. Well-developed computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite of programs, internet and email technology.
  7. Demonstrated experience in responding to a range of enquiries and administrative tasks and the ability to determine the appropriate response in a complex work environment.
