Join Our Team! Child Care Centre Cook Wanted
Are you passionate about cooking and working with children? We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic cook to join our team at our vibrant Child Care Centre! This part-time position offers a fantastic work-life balance, with hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 1 PM.
What You’ll Do:
· Prepare nutritious, balanced meals and snacks for 40 children per day from 0-5 years of age
· Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
· Work closely with the team to accommodate dietary requirements, needs and preferences.
· Help promote healthy eating habits in an engaging and fun way.
Who We’re Looking For:
· Experience in cooking, particularly in a childcare or educational setting (preferred but not essential).
· A love for cooking nutritious meals and a passion for supporting children’s health and wellbeing.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
· Friendly, positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
