What you'll be doing

Western Sydney Local Health District's Redevelopment team leads major health infrastructure projects across the region. The Change and Commissioning team supports smooth transitions through effective planning, stakeholder engagement, and service readiness strategies.

Your day to day will have you:

  • Supporting redevelopment, change and commissioning projects.
  • Working across Cumberland and Rouse Hill developments.
  • Coordinating project documentation, briefs and reporting.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to support change initiatives.
  • Assisting in planning, readiness and decision-making activities.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in change management, quality improvement and/or project support in a complex healthcare environment.
  2. Demonstrated understanding of change management principles and methodologies such as Clinical Healthcare Redesign and Accelerating Implementation Methodology, and their application to the delivery of healthcare services
  3. Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience within the context of capital works projects including health facility planning and commissioning activities including decanting and/or relocation of services
  4. Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  5. Demonstrated effective time management and organisation skills including the ability to manage competing priorities
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to prepare high-quality project documentation and reporting.
  7. High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, (i.e. SharePoint, TEAMS, OneNote, Lists, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint to support project documentation, tracking, and communication.
  8. Current NSW Driver’s License and ability to travel within the Health District and between construction sites as required.
