At Central Coast Local Health District our strategic vision is Trusted Care.  Better health for everyone.  Gosford Hospital is seeking dynamic Sterilisation Technicians to work within our Sterilising Services Departments.  This is an exceptional opportunity to show case your skills and make a real difference in the provision of services to the Central Coast Community.

About the Role

The role exists within the Sterilising Services Departments (SSD) of Central Coast Local Health District. The two units located on both Gosford and Wyong campuses adapt a one unit, two campus model, allowing consistency, continuity of service and increased quality control across the District.   This approach allows the transfer of skills, staff and support between the two units when necessary to achieve positive outcomes.

The purpose of the position is to provide sterile and thermally disinfected medical and surgical equipment to areas for use in patient care, in accordance with standards, guidelines, MoH directives, organisational policies and policies, procedures, guidelines & work Instructions developed by or in conjunction with SSD Management.
