Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is seeking applications for a Deputy Site Manager for the Gosford Hospital Inpatient Social Work Service.

About You 

  • Clinical Expertise and Leadership: You have extensive experience and specialist knowledge in acute health settings, providing senior leadership to inpatient social workers for high-quality care and teamwork.
  • Comprehensive Care Provider: You excel in assessment, crisis intervention, counselling, and case planning, ensuring smooth patient transitions and access to community services with your advanced reasoning and autonomy.
  • Proactive and Collaborative: You actively develop, implement, evaluate, and report on services, contribute to teaching and supervision, and support the interdisciplinary team and partners.


Where You’ll Be Working

Inpatient Social Work positions within CCLHD may require working rostered weekends and public holidays as directed by the service manager. This role is primarily based at Gosford Hospital but may also involve working at other acute sites within CCLHD, depending on service needs. Participation in the On Call Social Work Service is also required.
