About the Opportunity
This opportunity is open for all registered nurses second year and thereafter.
The Transition to Specialty Practice is a focused transitional year of practice in nursing providing an invaluable opportunity for nurses to consolidate their foundational skills while developing advanced knowledge and clinical competence within a chosen area of practice.
This dedicated year supports nurses in building confidence, refining clinical judgement, and strengthening their professional identity through guided mentorship and structured learning experiences. The successful candidates will gain deeper insight into complex patient care, enhance their decision-making abilities, and cultivate leadership skills that contribute to improved patient outcomes and professional growth.
This opportunity is a professional pathway that will provide development towards expert practice, fostering nurses and preparing them for ongoing career advancement within their specialty field.

Current AHPRA registration and valid Australian work rights.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
