About the Role

As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide high-quality nursing care to patients, while also leading, mentoring, and supervising Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing to ensure a collaborative and supportive care environment.

The Transit Lounge is a key part of our patient journey - supporting safe, efficient, and well-prepared discharges. It’s where patients await transport home and receive final care instructions and support from our expert team. This position operates Monday to Friday, rotating roster with shifts between 7:30am and 8:00pm.

About You

  • You have current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in clinical settings, using information technology along with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of team-based nursing, with the ability to work collaboratively and efficiently within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
