Wyong Hospital is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Registered Nurse to work within our Surgical Perioperative Team. Join our team as a Perioperative Registered Nurse at Wyong Hospital, working just 3 days per fortnight! Our unit operates Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 9:00 pm. Be part of an amazing, supportive team that works seamlessly together to deliver exceptional care to the patients of the Central Coast.
As a Registered Nurse, you’ll play a vital role within our multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing high-quality care throughout the perioperative experience. You'll also take the lead in guiding and supervising other nursing professionals, including Assistants in Nursing and Enrolled Nurses, to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- AHPRA Registration: Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Clinical Experience: Recent experience in day surgical nursing/perioperative care
- Commitment to Excellence: Strong focus on quality improvement, practice development, and evidence-based practice
- Teamwork: Understanding of team nursing with proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
