About You
- AHPRA-registered with clinical experience in mental health nursing, ideally in acute settings
- Motivated to develop your expertise and attain certification in mental health nursing
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment, where no two days are the same
- Confident in managing complex nursing needs, conducting risk assessments and delivering trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care
- A natural communicator and collaborator who puts patients at the centre of care
About the Role
As a Mental Health RN, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and provide hands-on clinical care
- Lead and mentor junior staff within the unit, fostering a learning and supportive environment
- Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, allied health, and nursing staff to provide wraparound care
- Be part of a unit that values evidence-based practice, kindness, teamwork and patient dignity
- Work a rotating roster within a 24/7 acute care environment
