We are  offering flexible full-time, part-time, permanent, and temporary positions on 8 and 10 hour shift profiles, with a 24/7 rotating roster you can balance life and work.

About You

  • AHPRA-registered with clinical experience in mental health nursing, ideally in acute settings

  • Confident in managing complex nursing needs, conducting risk assessments and delivering trauma-informed, recovery-oriented care

About the Role
Join our dedicated and specialised team at Gosford Hospital’s Mental Health Inpatient Unit, a unit that plays a critical role in supporting adults through acute mental health crises. This is more than just another RN job. You’ll be part of a deeply passionate, highly skilled team that works collaboratively to deliver expert care for those who need it most.

As a Mental Health RN, you will:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and provide hands-on clinical care
  • Lead and mentor junior staff within the unit, fostering a learning and supportive environment
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, allied health, and nursing staff to provide wraparound care
  • Be part of a unit that values evidence-based practice, kindness, teamwork and patient dignity
  • Work a rotating roster within a 24/7 acute care environment
