Registered Nurse – Acute Care Team (Mental Health)
 

We are currently seeking applications from candidates who are looking for an exciting opportunity within the Acute Care Team. 

About The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and committed Registered Nurse to join a dynamic Mental Health service dedicated to supporting the Central Coast community. The role offers the chance to further develop your skills and experience in acute mental health nursing while making a meaningful impact on the lives of consumers and their families.

Based at Wyong Hospital, the Registered Nurse – Acute Care Team (ACT) provides acute mental health care, crisis intervention, and clinical support within the Central Coast community. The successful candidate will work across a rotating 7-day roster and may be required to support other Mental Health teams to ensure safe, effective, and consumer-focused care delivery.

This is an opportunity to form ongoing, meaningful relationships with clients and families while being fully supported by a team renowned for its expertise, kindness, and collaborative culture.

About You

 

You will bring a strong commitment to high-quality community care and a passion for helping people maintain their health, independence, and dignity. You will have:

 

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Registered Nurse (Division 2).

  • Clinical experience relevant and applicable to Mental Health.

  • Recent clinical experience in provision of mental health assessment/acute care interventions and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.

  • Demonstrated personal attributes including resilience, integrity and accountability.
