About the Role
In this role, you will:

  • Deliver compassionate, person-centred care to older people living with complex mental health needs, dementia, or behavioural changes, ensuring dignity, safety, and quality of life are always prioritised.

  • Work in genuine partnership with patients, families, carers, and a skilled multidisciplinary team, creating tailored care plans that address mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive ward culture built on empathy, respect, and teamwork, where patients, families, and colleagues feel valued and supported.

  • Collaborate for holistic care, engaging closely with doctors, allied health professionals, and support staff to ensure seamless, coordinated support for every patient

About You

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.

  • Ability to delegate and supervise Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) within their scope of practice.

  • Competent clinical skills aligned with the Registered Nurse Standards of Practice.

  • Strong abilities in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
