Join Our Medical Imaging Team – Permanent Part-Time Registered Nurse Opportunity with Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD).
In this vital position, you will deliver high-quality nursing care to patients and their families undergoing complex diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures.
About the Role
This position is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care within the Medical Imaging department to patients and families undergoing a variety of complex diagnostic scans and interventional radiological procedures.
Monday to Friday roster with some afternoon and weekend shifts as required. No night shifts.
About You
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Recent clinical experience in the Medical Imaging, Theatres, critical nursing or acute care with a commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
- National Criminal Records Check.
- Working with Children Check.
- Drivers Licence – ability to travel between Gosford and Wyong Hospital
- Demonstrated competence in IV cannulation and CVAD access and assessment or willing to learn the skills.
- Physically able to wear lead aprons for extended periods of time
