This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks’ notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.

About the Role
The position works in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams to meet the goals of the patient and carer receiving community based Respiratory services in a variety of settings. The position provides quality nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation using best practice principles as part of a collaborative partnership with clients, families/carers and other key stakeholders
Working days: Monday to Friday— days to be determined in consultation with the successful candidate.

About You
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Current unrestricted NSW drivers’ licence.
- Recent clinical experience in Respiratory Services and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication using information technology and sound written verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of team nursing and demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
