CCLHD is seeking a dynamic, passionate and positive senior (Level 3) Occupational Therapist to support Palliative Care Unit at Gosford Hospital. Structured supervision, mentoring, supported CPD and leadership development are encouraged in this role.
About the Opportunity
In this role you will:
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based occupational therapy services to patients, carers and families receiving palliative care.
- Demonstrate innovative leadership in team activities and contribute to continuous improvement, professional development and research initiatives.
- Provide advanced, palliative care–specific advice and education to enhance service delivery, while guiding and supporting colleagues across the multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care.
- Provide supervision and professional support to a part-time Diversional Therapist.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Current registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board (AHPRA), current paid Working With Children Check, and current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
- Advanced clinical skills and experience working as an Occupational Therapist, conducting functional assessments and developing therapeutic care plans to address these needs.
- Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
