About The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of Aboriginal children, young people, and families across the Central Coast of NSW, including the Wyong and Gosford communities.
You will work in partnership with families in a role that is deeply grounded in cultural respect, safety, and connection. Your focus will be on strengthening cultural identity, supporting social and emotional wellbeing, and delivering early intervention that empowers families to thrive within their own cultural context.
At the heart of this role are the Child and Family Wellbeing Programs, where you will undertake intake, assessment, referral, and care coordination, alongside parenting support and longer-term case management. Your work will ensure families are connected to the right supports at the right time, in a way that is culturally responsive and strengths-based.
This is more than a service role—it is about walking alongside families, building trust, and helping to create pathways to better health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal children and their communities.
You will deliver care in flexible and accessible ways, including telephone and telehealth support, home visiting, and community or hospital-based settings, ensuring families receive support where and how they need it most.
If you are passionate about culturally safe practice, early intervention, and making a real impact in community-led wellbeing, this role offers the chance to do work that truly matters.
You will be working Monday to Friday, 8.00 to 4.30pm, no weekends!
