This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise and make a meaningful impact on healthcare services for the Central Coast community.

About the Role

This position is located on the Central Coast and is a temporary contract role, lasting until June 2026.

We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD), delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to clients and their families to support the best possible health outcomes. This role focuses on providing outpatient occupational therapy services to a paediatric caseload, primarily within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). You’ll also provide clinical supervision to junior Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants, and students, while actively contributing to education, training, and continuous service improvement.

The Head to Health Kids Hub offers care for children under 12 who need extra support with their mental health and wellbeing. The service focuses on early intervention, helping to identify and manage concerns as early as possible. Using a stepped-care approach, the hub provides tailored, evidence-based support and treatment. A team of medical staff, allied health professionals, psychologists, and early childhood experts work together to assess and support children and their families, complementing existing services.
