About the Opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to deliver specialised drug and alcohol treatment services to at risk young people and their families, supporting improved health and wellbeing outcomes. You will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care and advocacy in a dynamic clinical environment. In this role you will:


• Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments and evidence based therapeutic interventions for young people and families affected by substance use.
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans, including referral pathways to support recovery and positive outcomes.
• Deliver high quality clinical care and advocacy to support physical, mental, and social wellbeing.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal teams and external agencies to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, participate in supervision, and contribute to quality improvement and research activities.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:


• Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional registration in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Nursing.
• Demonstrated understanding of substance use disorders and associated psychosocial and mental health issues.
• Experience delivering therapeutic counselling interventions to young people and families.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, apply clinical reasoning, and contribute to continuous improvement.

 

This role would be suitable to any of the following:

• Social Worker Level 1 
• Social Worker Level 2 
• Occupational Therapist Level 1 
• Occupational Therapist Level 2 
• Registered Nurse
