Are you a highly organised and proactive administration professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a new and innovative mental health service? We are seeking a motivated Administration Support Officer to join the Safeguards Team at Tuggerah Business Park.
This role is more than just administration—it’s an opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic new initiative focused on supporting children and young people’s mental health. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced, supportive environment, helping ensure patients receive high-quality, timely care.
About the Role
As an integral part of the Mental Health Administration Support Services team, you’ll provide a wide range of administrative functions to support clinical operations. Reporting to the Administration Team Leader based in Gosford, you’ll help facilitate efficient day-to-day processes and ensure smooth service delivery across the Hub.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for the service, providing professional reception and front-desk support.
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient records, including admission and discharge documentation.
- Coordinate client appointments and schedules for clinical staff.
- Perform general administrative duties including document preparation, scanning, photocopying, and filing.
- Ensure accurate data entry into health record systems.
- Manage ordering and stock control of office supplies.
- Liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Provide flexible administrative support across CCLHD Mental Health sites as required.

About You
- Familiarity with NSW Health systems such as eMR or Community Health and Outpatient Care (CHOC).
- Demonstrated ability to extract, analyse and accurately report on data
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of confidentiality and privacy
