Where you'll be working
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing
Lead the systems and processes for corporate and clinical projects procurement e.g. rebate schemes and contracts, across WSLHD. Optimise corporate and clinical projects category opportunities to achieve improvements in quality, safety, and efficiency. Identify and realise potential areas for investment/disinvestment in relation to procurement activity across WSLHD.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Advanced communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise effectively with people at all levels of the organisation
  2. Ability to analyse and solve complex challenges / problems, including option appraisals
  3. Experience in critical literature evaluation, change management, research and quality assurance activities
  4. Good understanding of financial management and contract management
  5. Relevant post-graduate qualifications or professional experience in management, business, commerce, accounting
  6. Understanding of supply chain activities and how systems should support them, so as to be able to act as business owner of processes related to procurement project
