About The Role:

We are seeking motivated and adaptable Registered Nurses to join our Casual Pool at Belmont Hospital. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to rotate across all wards, supporting clinical areas experiencing short-term staffing deficits due to unplanned leave.

As a valued member of our nursing team, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care while working both autonomously and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. You will be supported by Nurse Unit Managers, Team Leaders, and our dedicated Clinical Nurse Education team.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality, efficient, and effective person-centred care that meets the needs of patients and their families/carers.

  • Support patients and families/carers to understand clinical interventions and service delivery processes, enabling informed decision-making regarding health care.

  • Provide care within professional boundaries, ethical frameworks, cultural respect principles, and scope of practice.

  • Respond effectively to emergency situations and changes in patient condition.

  • Work flexibly across all wards to support service delivery requirements.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Essential Criteria

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to adapt to changing clinical environments.
