- Tertiary qualifications in health promotion/education or other health-related discipline deemed appropriate by the employer.
- Demonstrated understanding of carer experiences and issues as well as relevant legislation and policy, community programs, and organisations that promote carer recognition and support.
- Demonstrated knowledge of health promotion principles and experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating quality improvement projects, initiatives, and events.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering training or education to health staff and/or other stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders including health staff, consumers and carers, and external organisations.
- Effective organisational and time management skills and demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute effectively within a team.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in developing health information, resources, and website content for a diverse range of consumers, including knowledge of health literacy and accessible communication principles.
- Demonstrated skills and experience using Microsoft programs (e.g. Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel) and other digital tools (e.g. Canva).
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
