Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa). 

What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective Inpatient, Outpatient/Community care that reflects current standards of Physiotherapy practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures. 
 
Provision of specialist assessment, intervention and management of people with cardiac and respiratory conditions, including coordinating the cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services at Kempsey District Hospital, as well as providing an in reach physiotherapy service to KDH medical wards.

About You
You are a highly experienced Physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and eligibility for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. You possess advanced clinical expertise in the assessment and management of patients with acute and chronic cardiac and respiratory conditions, delivering high-quality cardiopulmonary services that align with best practice models of care and support optimal patient outcomes.

You are recognised for your exceptional communication, consultation and conflict resolution skills, enabling you to build strong therapeutic relationships with patients, families and colleagues while contributing positively to complex clinical decision-making. As a collaborative and proactive practitioner, you work effectively within multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated, patient-centred care across a variety of healthcare settings.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you have extensive experience supervising, mentoring and educating students and staff, fostering professional growth and supporting the development of high standards of physiotherapy practice. You are committed to continuous improvement and have demonstrated success in undertaking quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation activities to enhance patient care and service delivery. Guided by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct, you consistently demonstrate professionalism, integrity and evidence-based practice. With a current NSW driver's licence, you are flexible and able to provide services across a range of clinical and community environments as required.
